Thermal imaging is a very revealing tool. They show incorrectly installed loft insulation, areas of uninsulated ceiling under flat roofs, draughts around and under doors, thermal bridging through loft joists and rafters and heat loss through uninsulated exterior walls and even through insulated cavity walls .using Flir B50 Thermal Imaging Camera and is able to carry out surveys to highlight problem areas.
Advice will also be given on how some of these problems can be addressed by the client at minimal cost to gain significant benefit.
A survey will cost from £195 depending on the size of the property, plus travel if outside a 20 mile radius and will take 1 – 3 hours; it will include a full report of the findings, a copy of the images and a list of recommendations.
